Ultramodern vehicles, sustainable solutions

MAN Truck & Bus SE simplifies its customers’ business with reliable, state-of-the-art commercial vehicles and intelligent, sustainable transport solutions.

MAN is one of the leading commercial vehicle manufacturers in Europe. The product portfolio includes vans, trucks, buses, engines powered by batteries, hydrogen, diesel and gas as well as services for passenger and freight transport. MAN Truck & Bus is a TRATON SE company and employs around 32,000 people worldwide.

Electric mobility at MAN continues to gain momentum rapidly. Sales of fully electric trucks and buses climbed by 168% to 1,970 units in 2025. 118% more city electric buses were sold than in the previous year. More than 1,300 eBuses set a new record. In addition, more than 620 eTrucks had already been sold until the end of 2025 – following the successful series launch of the eTruck in the summer. eTrucks have already covered 10 million kilometers in the fleets of major European logistics service providers.

The company is also expanding its extensive e-portfolio in 2026 with several highlights: Following the eTruck, MAN will be launching its “little” brother in the 12-ton range for light distribution transport. Orders for the eTGL will start in summer. In addition, another fully electric vehicle in the weight class up to 14 tons is to be introduced.

In 2026, the MAN eCoach will also herald the age of electric mobility in coaches – a milestone for sustainable long-distance travel and tourism. Preparations for production are in full swing. The first vehicles are scheduled to be delivered to customers before the end of 2026.

In addition, MAN offers digital services specially adapted for electric trucks and buses, such as MAN eManager, MAN SmartRoute and MAN Charge&Go. MAN Charge&Go charging tariff makes charging and payment easy and convenient for MAN electric mobility customers. Intelligent and efficient route planning and charging strategy for electric trucks is provided by MAN SmartRoute. The service ensures efficient route planning and guarantees that the appropriate charging station is always scheduled in good time. At the same time, MAN 2025 has demonstrated its innovative strength in other areas. The company was the first commercial vehicle manufacturer to launch tests for autonomous driving on German freeways and is going to support a groundbreaking project in Munich in 2026 with an automated city bus for regular public transport.
