Four brands and three service entities to provide more solutions for our customers
With our four leading brands – Scania, MAN, International, and Volkswagen Truck & Bus – the TRATON GROUP is a transportation powerhouse and one of the world’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturers.
The TRATON GROUP employs more than 107,000 people and operates 26 major production sites worldwide across twelve locations in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Through our range of trucks, buses, and light-duty commercial vehicles, and together with our partners and customers, we’re driving the shift towards a sustainable transport system.
In addition to the vehicle brands, TRATON also offers innovative solutions with our three service entities: TRATON Financial Services, offering financial solutions tailored to the commercial vehicle sector, TRATON Charging Solutions, dedicated to simplifying electric commercial transport and RIO, a cloud-based logistics service provider.
Furthermore, the TRATON GROUP is driving the development of a European charging infrastructure forward with the establishment of the Milence charging joint venture together with Daimler Truck and the Volvo Group. Milence has already made substantial progress to its mission, currently operating 34 charging hubs across eight European countries. An additional 16 hubs are in various stages of development, with a total of 90 expected to be operational by the end of 2028.
