1. Job application

Use our career portal to find the position that matches your skills and qualifications and show us why you are the right person for the job.

2. Video interview with HR

After reviewing your documents, we will invite you to an initial meeting with the responsible HR Business Partner. The purpose of the video interview is for both sides to get to know each other briefly in person, for you to find out more about working at TRATON and for basic framework conditions and expectations to be clarified.

3. Interview with the department

The aim of the interview is for you to get to know your potential supervisor and the department and to gain detailed insights into the area of responsibility. At the same time, you can convince your potential colleagues of your skills and both sides can determine whether you are a good fit both professionally and personally.
For management positions, there will also be an assessment day.

4. Decision

If both sides believe that we are a good match, we will offer you a position with us.

More about the process

    • There are a few things you could consider when applying to us. Firstly, we appreciate comprehensive application documents – we want to get a better sense of who you are and why you would make a good fit for TRATON. Secondly, we encourage you to read the job description carefully and gain a good understanding of our company prior to applying. This is to make sure that the job aligns with your interest and experience. Get in touch with us first if you have any questions or concerns.

    • We aim to keep our recruitment process as efficient as possible, and as exhaustive as needed. Sometimes, this can take time. We value your interest in our company and we strive to give you an answer as soon as possible.

    • If your profile meets our requirements, you will firstly be invited to a shorter phone interview with our HR department. If we make a good match, you will be invited to a face-to-face interview with the Head of the Business Unit and our HR consultant. When you apply for a management position with us, we may require additional selection rounds, where we carefully evaluate your competencies and cultural fit even further.

    • In the interview, we consider a few things. We want to see that your values match ours. We want you to have clear expectations about your future work and career. We want to see that you are open-minded and adaptable to change. Lastly, we want to make sure that you speak English at a high level, or even fluently.

    • You will receive all the details about your position from your responsible Business Partner as soon as we have made you an individual offer. There are also a number of benefits from which all our employees profit.

    • You will receive an onboarding on your first day. Your business unit will welcome you into the team and get you up to speed. You will also be given a comprehensive information packet to read when it suits you.
