Matthias Gründler was born in Stuttgart (Germany) in 1965.
He completed training as an industrial management assistant and studied business administration. Gründler joined Daimler AG in 1986. After holding a variety of management positions in Germany and abroad, he was named Chief Finance Officer at Mitsubishi Fuso Trucks & Bus Corp. in Japan in 2008. Three years later, he took over management of the Powertrain Procurement and Business Development unit at Daimler Trucks & Buses. He served as Chief Financial Officer of Daimler Trucks & Buses, responsible for Finance and Controlling, from 2012 to 2015.
In September 2015, Matthias Gründler took over the position as Chief Financial Officer of Volkswagen Truck & Bus GmbH (today: TRATON SE). He held this position until May 2018.
Since July 16, 2020, Mr. Gründler has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of TRATON SE.

Christian Schulz was born in 1977 in Schmalkalden (Germany).
He studied business administration and began his career at Daimler AG in 1999. Having held various positions in the Finance, Controlling and Risk Management department of Daimler Trucks, he took over as Head of Finance & Controlling for the transmissions production area and the Gaggenau plant in 2006. He worked as the Controlling Director for Purchasing, Production, and Development at Mitsubishi Fuso Truck & Bus in Tokyo between 2008 and 2011.
Prior to joining the TRATON team in January 2017, Schulz worked as Director of Controlling Operations worldwide at Mercedes-Benz Cars and the latter’s significant shareholdings abroad from 2011 through 2016. He had a significant part to play in the expansion of the joint venture for passenger cars in China and collaborated with Nissan in Mexico as part of Supervisory Board for the joint venture.
Schulz has been in charge of Business Development since January 2017. In June 2018 Christian Schulz was appointed as Member of the Executive Board of TRATON SE. He is responsible for Finance and Business Development.

Christian Levin was born in 1967. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business & Administration and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. In 1994, Christian Levin started his career as a management trainee with Scania AB. He held a number of management positions at Scania, including Director of Product Marketing as well as Managing Director of Italscania. In 2010, Christian Levin was named as Executive Vice President and Head of Commercial Operations of Scania AB. From 2016 to 2019 he was Executive Vice President and Head of Sales & Marketing at Scania AB.
In 2019 Christian Levin was appointed as Member of the Executive Board of TRATON SE. He is responsible for Research & Development as well as for Procurement (Chief Operating Officer).

Henrik Henriksson was born in Reslöv (Sweden) in 1970.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Henriksson began his career in 1997 as a management trainee with Scania AB. Starting in 1999, he held a number of management positions in marketing at Scania, including Export Director at Scania South Africa Pty Ltd in Johannesburg (South Africa). Henriksson was named a member of the Scania Management Board in 2012, responsible for Sales and Marketing.
Henrik Henriksson was appointed President and CEO of Scania AB in 2016. He is also a member of the Executive Board at TRATON SE.
Dr. Andreas Tostmann
Member of the Executive Board of TRATON SE, Chief Executive Officer MAN
Dr. Tostmann was born in Peine (Germany) in 1962, Dr. Tostmann holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Economics from the University Brunswick.
In 1990 he joined the Volkswagen Group in the Group product planning area. From 1994 Dr. Tostmann was then responsible for product planning powertrain at Volkswagen de México. He assumed responsibility for technical project planning and project management powertrain for the Volkswagen Group in 1995, before becoming manager of Volkswagen’s Salzgitter (Germany) plant in 2001. Three years later, Dr. Tostmann became Managing Director of Volkswagen South Africa.
He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Volkswagen Slovakia in 2007. In this function, Dr. Tostmann also assumed responsibility for production until November 2011. Following this, he became SEAT Executive Vice President for Production. From February 2018 until July 2020, Dr. Tostmann was appointed Member of the Board of Management of the Volkswagen Brand responsible for Production and Logistics.
Since July 16, 2020, Dr. Tostmann has been a Member of the Executive Board of TRATON SE as well as Chief Executive Officer of MAN SE and MAN Truck & Bus SE.
Antonio Roberto Cortes
Member of the Executive Board of TRATON SE, Chief Executive Officer Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus
Antonio Roberto Cortes was born in São Paulo (Brazil) in 1955.
Cortes studied business and finance, and began his career in the auto industry in 1979. He cofounded Autolatina, a joint venture between Ford and Volkswagen in Brazil and Argentina. Cortes headed up the Business Strategy unit at Ford in Detroit (USA) from 1989 to 1990. After the dissolution of Autolatina in 1994, he took over the position of Corporate Controller for South America at Volkswagen. In 1998, he led the transition of Volkswagen Caminhões e Ônibus to an independent business unit and took charge of the South American business in 2000. Two years later, Cortes was named Executive Vice President of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.
Antonio Roberto Cortes has been CEO of MAN Latin America Ltda. since 2009. He is also a member of the Executive Board at TRATON SE.
