Compliance & Risk Management

At TRATON, Compliance means that our employees act in accordance with ethical standards, the law, and internal guidelines — at all times, and everywhere. The binding guideline for acting with integrity is the Code of Conduct.

In addition, the management of risks and opportunities is an inseparable component of overall corporate management and of business processes — and it’s precisely here that we create transparency early on. Because only by doing so can we ensure effective risk-reduction measures on both the management level and the process level.

Contacts for whistleblowers

Integrity and compliant conduct are of the highest priority for TRATON. In order to guarantee these values and to avoid or minimize potential risks due to regulatory violations, it is crucial that any regulatory violations are identified, clarified, and eliminated.

At TRATON, tip-offs regarding potential regulatory violations can be reported by employees, business partners, customers and other third parties through various channels, at any time, and in any language. All tip-offs are received by the TRATON Investigation Office, which ensures that comprehensive and appropriate investigations are carried out.

The whistleblower system guarantees the greatest possible protection for whistleblowers and persons implicated. An investigation is only initiated after a very careful examination of the facts and a reasonable suspicion of a regulatory violation. There will be strict confidentiality and secrecy throughout the investigative process. Information will be reviewed fairly, promptly, and in a sensitive manner.

Information on data protection and the rights to which you are entitled can be found here:

Speak up!—the 24/7 TRATON whistleblower portal

Important notice: Even if your preferred language is not offered in the reporting channel, you can use any language to submit your report. You can also contact the TRATON Investigation Office in any language via e-mail or mail.
